Founded in 1990, the Alchemist is a community resource centre, whose main aim from its inception has been to divert waste from landfill and to provide community and educational groups with a cheap, safe and reliable source of art and craft materials. This project recycles and re-uses waste from local businesses that would otherwise go to landfill, or need to be recycled by other means. |
